Carmen Burnar is a graphic designer, visual artist, and storyteller of emotion through form, texture, and rhythm. Her creative practice blends both digital and analog techniques — from collage and 3D sculpture to branding and UI/UX design — all grounded in a deep interest in how emotion can be visualized and felt. With a background in Graphic Design & Visual Communication and a solid foundation in fine arts, she moves fluidly between commercial and experimental projects, creating work that is both concept-driven and visually rich. Carmen is also the co-founder of forum lab., an independent artist-run space in Timișoara dedicated to collaborative creation, contemporary research, and artistic dialogue. Her design experience spans collaborations with international teams on corporate branding as well as exhibitions of emotionally charged, mixed-media artworks exploring themes like mental health, identity, and human connection. Whether designing a logo, curating an exhibition, or crafting a collage series on body dysmorphia, her aim remains the same: to create with intention, to connect through emotion, and to tell stories that resonate.
