Letters to No One (series)

Complementing this, “Letters to No One” presents a more subtle, yet equally emotional, collage series that transforms the act of unspoken communication into visual form. These pieces evoke a sense of longing, vulnerability, and solitude, as if capturing messages never sent and feelings left unheard. Together, both series form a narrative arc that oscillates between inner struggle and quiet resilience, using collage as a medium for emotional excavation and personal storytelling.

The birth of a so-called artist

“The Birth of a So-Called Artist” is a deeply personal collage series that visualizes the metamorphosis of my artistic identity through three symbolic stages. The first stage, The Egg, captures a time before I arrived in Timișoara and entered art school — a moment of quiet incubation where the artistic instinct was present, but still undefined, unexposed to context, critique, or community. In The Hatching, I depict the moment of rupture and revelation — the breaking of the shell that once held me back, symbolizing the discovery of my voice, my curiosity, and the beginning of self-awareness as an artist. Finally, The Start of the Road represents the ongoing journey: a continuous path of exploration through new media, techniques, and communities. It’s where growth no longer means simply learning, but evolving — building connections, shaping ideas, and embracing uncertainty as an essential part of becoming. This series is not just about becoming an artist, but about claiming and reshaping that title in my own way.

BODY DYSMORPHIA: A STRANGER IN MY BODY book

The collage series “Body Dysmorphia: A Stranger in My Body” is a deeply introspective visual journey that explores the psychological impact of living with body dysmorphia. Through layered imagery and emotional symbolism, the works navigate the distressing contrast between self-perception and reality, shaped by societal pressures and internalized self-critique. Beginning with a raw depiction of despair and alienation, the series gradually moves toward healing and self-acceptance — culminating in a symbolic rebirth.
